McKay Soliai
He is a great student, athlete, and musician. He has done bowling, basketball, tennis, and football. He has a funny sense of humor, and tries to keep everyone laughing. He is the leader among his peers. He has served on student councils through out his Middle School and High School years. He has a strong will to go after the things he wants in this life. He is a hard worker and very independent. McKay will continue to do amazing things in his life.
Isaac Borgeson
Isaac is so excited for his senior year. He loves football so much and hopes to play in college. He is an awesome son, brother, and friend. His two younger sisters love watching him play the game he loves just as much as we do! Isaac has worked so hard in the gym to get stronger and perform well this year. We love you Isaac and look forward to a great year!
Jason Burrows
He plays defensive end and also runs track. He is a 4.0 student. His future plans include serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and going to college with a focus on health sciences/medical.
Cooper Clark
Cooper Clark is excited to be a senior on the Desert Hills High School Football Team playing corner and safety. He will graduate with his High School Diploma and also an associate degree from Utah Tech. Cooper also plays on the Desert Hills Varsity Soccer Team and enjoys weightlifting and teasing his four younger siblings. After graduation, he plans to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Trevyn Hassler
Trevyn Hassler embraces the hurdles inherent in sports, steadily progressing and honing his skills. While primarily excelling as a Wide Receiver, this season marks his debut as a safety, adding a new dimension to his game. Beyond the gridiron, Trevyn relishes moments spent with loved ones, engaging in activities like riding four-wheelers and horseback riding. Dreaming of a future at the University of Utah.
Ryker May
He is a running back and linebacker. Ryker has been playing football for 10 years. Ryker has 5 siblings and they are his personal fan club. He broke both Tibia and Fibula his sophomore year and has come back stronger! Ryker is also on the wrestling team. We are so proud of him and can’t wait to see what his future holds. He wants to go into construction management and has always wanted to serve in the US Army, like his grandpa.
Broc Mooy
Broc is a survivor. He has had many ER and hospital visits. He takes each incident as a motivator to become stronger. Broc has 5 brothers and 2 sisters. One of his biggest supporters is his 3-year-old brother. He serves and looks out for people in need wherever he goes. We love this son of ours and are so proud of the young man he is becoming! Broc is planning to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Topper Pattison
He is currently one of the receivers for the team and loves the challenge and hard work it brings. When he wants something he really works hard at it. He grew up on the football and baseball field with his brother and dad coaching him. Topper is the youngest of three kids. Topper plans to continue his education at Dixie Tech after high school. We are excited for his last year and what growth it will bring for him.
Malikhi Perry
He is a defensive back. Bo Jackson said, “The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do”. It perfectly sums up Malikhi. He has a drive and determination to take on any task. The hobbies he enjoys most are hanging out with friends, spending time with family, and football. His Goal for this year is to have a positive impact on the Football Team. He wants to attend The University of Utah & major in Sports Medicine.
Gage Sherman
Gage Sherman is the second of 5 kids. He was surrounded by girls until he finally got a brother in 2022. Gage plays defensive back. The college Gage desires to go to is Arizona State University. He wants to pursue a career in orthodontics. Gage loves hanging out with friends and loves playing and watching sports. His favorite NFL team is the Arizona Cardinals.
Josiah Ahosivi
Josiah loves football. He loves his family. He likes to encourage himself with daily affirmations. He wants to learn and become a crypto currency trader. He enjoys spending time with his cousin and his friends.
Austin Wintle
He plays TE and slot with style. He is motivated to get up early to go to the gym and get good grades. He maintains great friendships. He loves music and is a great snow skier. Austin is the first child and has two younger brothers and a younger sister. Everyone in our family and many others look up to him literally and figuratively. He is a great example and leader to his siblings and all he comes in contact with.
Cyrus Polu
He has many talents and gifts that bless not only his life, but his family’s and those around him. He knows how to work hard and be humble. His family love and supports him.

From a young age, Luke has always stood out—both for his size and his excitement for football. He has always been an asset to his team both with his size and strength but also with his leadership. Luke loves hanging out with his friends and having fun on and off the field. We love Luke and we are so proud of him! We are excited to support him his senior year and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
Gerritt Grondel
Gerritt is a highly competitive athlete who enjoys playing all sports, especially football. As an environmental advocate he drives his teal green Prius with pride, especially for the long drive to and from school. Gerritt has aspirations of playing college football and is exploring options and schools to attend.
Simon Fuailetolo
He is the youngest of 4 kids but definitely the tallest at 6’6”! He loves to joke around & play video games. He also enjoys playing football & throwing in track. He wants to play football at the next level in college, hopefully somewhere in Utah.
Jordan Cluff
He watches others and learns by observing. He is very loyal and works hard. He never complains. He loves to tease and he is very witty. Jordan is a good dancer and naturally is good with sports in general. Jordan plans on serving a mission after graduation and then college to possibly be a sports team physical therapist. Whatever Jordan ends up doing, he will succeed and help others around him. He always puts in the work.

Max is a natural leader, who is dedicated, funny, and kind. He has a passion for all sports and is planning to be a physical therapist for a professional sports team. He is involved in track, wrestling, and football. Off the field, Max is known for his positive attitude, wisdom, determination, and humor. He approaches challenges with a growth mindset, while smiling as he laughs his way through opportunities for improvement.
Alec Tafua
Known for his outgoing personality, he brings joy and laughter to those around him, embodying the roles of protector, thinker, jokester, and gentle giant. Alec is passionate about football, attributing his love for the sport to his father, uncles, teammates, and coaches. As he enters his final year of high school, Alec aims to continue playing at the collegiate level, pursuing a degree in Graphic Arts, and planning a 2-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Zakia Tupea
Zakia loves football, he loves to eat, listen to Drake and loves his family. He has 3 brothers. He plans on attending college. His hobbies are playing madden and seige with his teammates, going to the gym playing basketball and hanging out with his brothers. He’s been playing football since freshman year.
Jackson Keith
Jackson started playing football for Desert Hills as a junior. He plays safety, punt returner, and kick returner. He has been involved in a lot of different sports in his life including baseball, basketball, and mountain biking, and he currently runs track for DHHS. He carries a 3.9 GPA and plans to pursue a career in medicine. He is an accomplished piano player and loves music. Jackson is the oldest of four boys and is very active in his church.
Tytan Mason
Tytan has an amazing work ethic and is always trying to improve. Tytan learned so much abour football from watching his dad coach. Tytan had the opportunity to start playing for Desert Hills his junior season and has loved every minute. He has made great relationships with players and coaches alike. Tytan has worked hard not only on the field to get a football scholarship for college but has worked hard academically.
